Father Brennan
graduated from
St. Thomas More Grade School.
He attended Quigley South
Preparatory Seminary, Niles
College of Loyola University
and St. Mary of the Lake
Seminary. He was
ordained a priest for the
Archdiocese of Chicago
on May 9, 1973.
Father Brennan
is currently the Director
of Pastoral Care and Mission
Integration at The
Clare at Water Tower.
He is president of the
National Center for
Evangelization and Parish
Renewal, which is based
in Chicago and offers
missions and training in
various dimensions of
evangelization around the
country. He has done
extensive training in the
area of evangelization,
youth ministry, RCIA,
religious education, parish
renewal and pastoral care
both nationally and
internationally.
Father Brennan
has authored more than 15
books, articles and audio
series, including The
Mission Driven Parish and
Re-Imaging the Parish.
He is the host of
Horizons, a weekly
radio program, which airs
every Sunday morning
at 6:30 am on 560 AM
and at 11 am on 1160 AM.
His real love is parish work
and thus has applied much of
this research to evangelical
renewal on the parish level.
All of the models presented
in his books on parish life
grew out of laboratory
experiences in parishes.
