new ministry, Evangelization! The Mission of
the Evangelization Team is to raise awareness within the
parish of everyone's role to evangelize, and to
assist the parish in becoming a more effective
evangelization community. We are looking for
people who are interested in becoming part of the

Evangelization - what
does it really mean...? Simply expressed,
evangelization means bringing Jesus Christ to the
world in word and sacrament. Evangelization
begins with an announcement, as invitation to
embrace faith in Jesus Christ. Its goal is to
connect people with Jesus Christ and to connect them
with each other in the Body of Christ, his Church.
Because of this connection, believers can share in
the new life God offers us through his Son, Jesus
Christ, in the power of the Holy Spirit.
