God made us to be good and holy.

He want us to love Him and love others.

God wants us to be happy with Him in heaven.

We are learning about the Last Supper and

the Holy Eucharist.

God want us to care for creation.

Religion/ Science/ Social Studies Connection

We made our terrariums.

We reused candy containers.

We have to care for it. We had to measure the

We use our small chalkboard to solve story problems

that have 4 and 5 addends.

We have begun estimating.

We used cubes as a non-standard form of measurement.

Our hearts had to be at least 25 cubes.

Social Studies/ Science

We are learning about weather and how it effects our lives in

what we wear and what we do.

We will be learning about the water cycle.

We are recycling so far we have collected 307 bottles and

44 cans.

Thank you to Miss Debbie Mrs. Fahey and preschool for helping us!

We are using the scientific method.

We have an economic system in the classroom.

The children earn money by being in charge of the day.  They have to hire

their people to help hand out papers at the end of the day.  About once a

month they can use their money to buy items in the classroom store.

Response to Intervention

This year I am also using a reading strategy called response to intervention

which will help the children that are struggling with reading sight words

and comprehension.
